The law allows consumers to access, correct, and delete personal data, and gives them the option to prevent the sale of that information.<\/p>\n<p>Branscum says it\u2019s encouraging to see Kentucky\u2019s work recognized nationally as Congress considers a nationwide framework for consumer data privacy.<\/p>\n<p>The General Assembly continued those efforts this year with passage of House Bill 692, also sponsored by Branscum.
