Beginning early next year, Delta Air Lines<\/span>‘<\/strong> Airbus A330-200<\/span> and Airbus A330-300<\/span> fleets will undergo a complete head-to-tail transformation, headlined by new Delta One business class suites complete with a sliding privacy door. The work spans not only privacy doors, but also self-serve snack stations, massive new inflight entertainment screens, upgraded in-seat technology, and more. For frequent flyers who have been quietly routing around the carrier\u2019s A330 fleet, this work will mean Delta\u2019s legacy A330s will have even nicer interiors than brand-new A350-900s and A330-900neos. <\/p>\n

Taken together with the Atlanta-based carrier\u2019s massive fleet expansion plans, including inducting the Airbus A350-1000<\/span> and Boeing 787-10<\/span> into its fleet within the next five years, Delta\u2019s A330 retrofit is part of a $1 billion<\/strong> fleet transformation plan.
