MADISON, Wis. \u2013\u00a0As artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies drive demand for reliable, high-speed internet, the current state of broadband access across Wisconsin will be the focus of the Tech Council\u2019s June 30 luncheon in Madison.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Panelists will discuss where Wisconsin stands today when it comes to broadband access, where progress has been\u00a0made\u00a0and what gaps\u00a0remain. The conversation will also explore how growing demand from businesses, schools, healthcare\u00a0providers\u00a0and emerging technologies is shaping the state\u2019s broadband needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The discussion will be moderated by\u00a0Alyssa Kenney<\/strong>, state\u00a0broadband\u00a0and digital equity director for the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. Panelists include\u00a0Brittany Beyer<\/strong>, broadband resources procurement specialist with the UW-Madison\u00a0Division of Extension;\u00a0Robyn Gruner<\/strong>, director of external affairs for AT&T Wisconsin; and\u00a0Brian Remer,<\/strong>\u00a0chief executive officer of\u00a0WiscNet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event will take place at\u00a0510\u00a0Charmany\u00a0Drive, Irving Shain Conference Room, Madison.\u00a0Registration, buffet\u00a0lunch\u00a0and networking will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at 12:15 p.m.\u00a0Registration information is available here.\u00a0<\/p>\n
