(AAPL) were on investors\u2019 radar premarket on Tuesday as multiple analysts took a cautious stance on the iPhone maker after it unveiled a range of new AI features at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, AAPL stock was flat on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"st-heading-2\"><strong>Why Wall Street Is Not Buying The AI-Upgrade Cycle Narrative<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Apple\u2019s AI strategy took center stage at the WWDC on Monday; however, analysts are not convinced that it will translate into stronger iPhone sales.<\/p>\n<p>Barclays kept an \u2018Underweight\u2019 rating on Apple with a price target of $253 on the stock, implying roughly 15% discount from its Friday\u2019s closing price.<\/p>\n<p>Barclays stated that Apple\u2019s Siri AI and Apple Intelligence are \u2018interesting though not necessarily transformative\u2019 and that the announced changes and updated features are \u2018incremental, and not enough to drive an upgrade cycle\u2019 for the iPhone.
