(WAFB) &#8211; Meta plans to launch a new program to train workers for artificial intelligence infrastructure jobs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meta owns social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The new program, called America\u2019s Workforce Academy, will have a pilot location in Baton Rouge. The program is described as a boot camp that will have a four to five week curriculum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Participants will get paid while they train and will not need any previous experience. Tuition, airfare, and lodging will be covered. After completing the training, graduates will become employed by a contractor partner for Meta and will be assigned to Meta data center construction sites. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to Meta, jobs in artificial infrastructure, data center construction, power generation, and grid modernization are expected to be some of the most in-demand and stable in the next decade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Other training center pilot locations are Houston, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Columbus, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This story will be updated with more information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Click here to report a typo.
