Your phone probably has more sensors than you realize. Most of us interact with only a handful of them every day.<\/p>\n

We use the camera, GPS, microphone, and maybe the fingerprint scanner without thinking twice.<\/p>\n

But smartphones are packed with additional hardware that helps apps understand movement, light, sound, orientation, wireless signals, and even magnetic fields.<\/p>\n

The funny thing is that I rarely thought about any of those sensors until I installed a physics app out of pure curiosity.<\/p>\n

The application works as a sensor toolkit that uses your phone\u2019s built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and other sensors for various experiments and measurements.<\/p>\n

However, I ended up using it for much more practical everyday tasks.<\/p>\n

That’s right! Tapping Build Number seven times in About Phone unlocks Developer Options. You’ll usually see a countdown message like ‘You are now 3 steps away from being a developer’ as you tap. This hidden menu gives access to powerful tools like USB debugging, mock locations, and animation scale controls.<\/p>\n

Not quite \u2014 the correct method is tapping the Build Number seven times in About Phone. This Easter egg has been present since Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and Google added it partly as a playful nod to developers who know where to look.
