(WIS) &#8211; Residents in Chapin will have a chance to voice their thoughts on a land sale that could result in new development. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Lexington County Council will hold a public hearing on June 10 at 5:30 p.m., concerning a 200-acre land sale at the Chapin Technology Park. County leaders took a first step in approving the sale in April.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">The potential buyers are listed as Brighton Capital Partners, LLC. The group\u2019s website contains details of a proposed mixed-use development called \u201cPalatin.\u201d That development includes new businesses and housing across the 200 acres. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Developed in the early 2010s, Chapin Technology Park has since sat without business and is mostly made up of paths leading to dead ends, sidewalks and a water fountain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Residents wanting to leave a comment ahead of the public hearing are asked to do so online by clicking\/tapping here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Feel more informed, prepared, and connected with WIS.
