Google has completely rolled out its new gradient Workspace icons on Android, iOS, and the web.<\/p>\n

The new icons started rolling out the day before I\/O 2026 on May 18. This redesign first came to the web, with all Workspace apps on iOS updated by May 26.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It took until today for everything on Android to be completely rolled out: Gmail, Google Calendar, Tasks, Chat, Meet, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Keep, and Voice. There\u2019s also Google Forms, Sites, and Vids, but those services lack mobile applications.<\/p>\n

On Android, Gmail was the straggler, with everything else seeing wide availability the week prior. The email client maintains its previous shape, with the status bar icon not changing, but benefits from more red in the logo to aid visibility.<\/p>\n

These icons join Google Search, Gemini, Google Home, Photos, Maps, Wallet, and Health.<\/p>\n

Officially, these logos reflect the Gemini Era with a slight gradient. Save for Gmail (which is the largest service in the suite), the new icons don\u2019t use all four Google colors. Drive is an exception with three distinct colors, while everything else has one main hue.<\/p>\n

That change joins how each icon has a unique shape after several logos in the previous set were placed in the same page-shaped container.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Google wanted to give \u201cevery app a more distinct identity\u201d that is \u201crecognizable on your screen.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
