MM-Force is a balanced, ultra low-profile moving magnet low-frequency driver available in 8” and 10” formats, and Spixel, an ultra-compact 2.5” high-efficiency full-range driver. Both solutions will make their debut at InfoComm 2026, where Powersoft is exhibiting at booth N6653 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

MM-Force and Spixel provide OEM partners with access to a complete audio technology ecosystem rather than individual components. Where conventional transducer design accepts well-established trade-offs between size, efficiency, and application versatility, both products set out to redefine those constraints entirely.

MM-Force is a patented balanced low-profile moving magnet LF driver that combines extreme motor strength with an ultra-shallow physical footprint of under 80 mm in depth. This profile fits within installation standards that would ordinarily rule out subwoofer integration altogether. The 8” and 10” driver features a dual coil configuration, a square carbon fibre reinforced polymer piston that maximises radiating area within its footprint, and a robust design rated for operation in harsh environments and demanding conditions.

The driver’s moving parts are engineered to offset one another dynamically, achieving vibrationless operation at the transducer level. This means that even a single-driver enclosure operates without the mechanical vibration that would ordinarily require additional structural reinforcement or dampening. This enables a new class of compact, self-contained subwoofer products for fixed installation, portable touring, and high-end automotive applications where space and weight constraints have historically made subwoofer integration impractical. The combination of moving magnet topology with high motor strength design delivers significant advantages in power efficiency and material economy compared to conventional moving coil…

Source

Powersoft unveils two new OEM technologies with MM-Force and Spixel — TPi https://www.tpimagazine.com/powersoft-unveils-two-new-oem-technologies-with-mm-force-and-spixel/ Publish Date:…

https://www.tpimagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/ed2936e3-21fd-628e-e4ce-09765252db8a-e1780562235536.png
[8
87,85
post-263685","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-technology","tag-automotive","tag-space
