The latest title in the Pok\u00e9mon franchise, Pok\u00e9mon Champions, is finally making its way off of the Nintendo Switch and onto iOS and Android devices this month.<\/p>\n

Since its launch in April, fans globally have been testing their mettle in engaging Pok\u00e9mon Champions matches on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, and today, The Pok\u00e9mon Company has announced that battles are about to become more mobile. Champions is launching on iOS and Android this month. Pok\u00e9mon Champions is a free-to-play game, and it is built entirely around battling other players. <\/p>\n

Champions uses the same core systems fans already know (so Pokemaniacs will have knowledge built in), and strategy will be key to triumphing over opponents just like in the mainline titles. Matches take place in Single Battles or Double Battles with teams of six Pok\u00e9mon (as usual), and like other games in the series, mid-battle decisions will decide the outcome of a bout. Switching into favourable matchups, when to use Mega Evolution, and timing when to use your moves play a big role in how matches unfold.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the mobile device release of Pok\u00e9mon Champions, Trainers can log in (following the game\u2019s mobile release on June 17) to claim Raichu and two Mega Stones never before seen in Champions battles. From\u00a0June 17, 2026, until September 1, 2026, trainers on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms can claim Raichu, Raichunite X, and Raichunite Y from their in-game mailbox in Pok\u00e9mon Champions as a free bonus to celebrate the title\u2019s port to mobile. <\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Champions is set to release on the\u00a0App Store\u00a0and\u00a0Google Play\u00a0on\u00a0June 17, 2026, with preregistrations available now! If you\u2019ve been playing on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, fans should note (and let out a sigh of relief) that save data will carry over to the mobile version of the game if you link the same Nintendo Account to mobile.<\/p>\n
