Google has announced its latest June Android Drop, rolling out a host of new features across Android devices that span safety, personalisation, content discovery and cross-platform sharing.<\/p>\n

The update introduces new capabilities in Google Photos, Circle to Search, Google Play Books, Quick Share and the Personal Safety app, while also expanding protections against increasingly sophisticated phone scams.<\/p>\n

The company said the new features are designed to help users get more out of the apps they use every day, whether through AI-powered recommendations, improved sharing experiences or additional layers of security.<\/p>\n

Circle to Search gets outfit discovery capabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the additions in the update is an enhancement to Circle to Search, Google’s visual search tool. Users can now identify and search for an entire outfit seen on their screen without switching between apps.<\/p>\n

Rather than searching for individual clothing items, the feature can recognise a complete look, including tops, footwear and accessories, and surface related shopping results. The capability is available on Android 14 and newer devices that support Circle to Search.<\/p>\n

Google Photos to introduce AI-powered digital wardrobe<\/strong><\/p>\n

Google is also expanding the role of Google Photos with a new wardrobe feature that automatically organises clothing visible in a user’s photo library.<\/p>\n

The feature creates a digital closet by cataloguing outfits and apparel from stored images, allowing users to browse clothing items, save favourite looks, experiment with outfit combinations and share style ideas with friends. Google said rollout will begin next week for eligible users in the United States, India and Brazil on Android 10 and newer devices.<\/p>\n

New family safety tools coming to Android<\/strong><\/p>\n

The update also includes additional safety features aimed at children and teenagers.<\/p>\n

Children under 13 will soon be able to access key Personal Safety app functions, including displaying medical information and emergency contacts on the lock screen….<\/p>\n
