Here\u2019s the latest data on the search engine\u2019s recent success, which is especially strong among iPhone users.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-1054229\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-duckduckgo-just-set-new-all-time-search-traffic-record\">DuckDuckGo just set new all-time search traffic record<\/h2>\n<p>Last week we reported that DuckDuckGo installs on iPhone spiked after Google\u2019s AI search announcements at Google I\/O. <\/p>\n<p>Now today, the latest updates from the search provider prove that wasn\u2019t a fluke, as DuckDuckGo just experienced its highest single-day search traffic ever.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the latest updates, as shared with 9to5Mac by DuckDuckGo\u2019s team:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yesterday, Monday June 1st, DuckDuckGo search traffic\u00a0<strong>recorded a new single day all time high<\/strong>. This is due to elevated install levels over the last two weeks.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This past week, US installs were\u00a0<strong>61% higher than the pre-announcement week<\/strong>, peaking at\u00a0<strong>76% above the pre-announcement\u00a0<\/strong>daily average\u00a0on the strongest day (June 1).<\/li>\n<li>iOS led all platforms: US iOS installs over the most recent week ran\u00a0<strong>95% above the pre-announcement week. Almost 2x<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>DuckDuckGo is currently the <strong>most downloaded browser in the iOS app store<\/strong> behind Chrome,\u00a0ranking number 3 in the utilities chart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DuckDuckGo isn\u2019t anti-AI, but the search provider does offer a more traditional search experience than Google is pivoting to with its AI-heavy revamp.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, DuckDuckGo lets you disable all AI features by using\u00a0noai.duckduckgo.com. With Google, that option doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve long used DuckDuckGo as my default search engine in Safari across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
