Asus has unveiled a new ProArt Mini PC that packs workstation-level hardware into a chassis small enough to sit comfortably beside a monitor \u2013 just like Apple\u2019s high-end Mac Studio.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Measuring just 150 x 150 x 51mm, the ProArt Mini PC is built around Nvidia\u2019s new RTX Spark superchip platform, which combines a Blackwell-based RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores and a 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU. <\/p>\n

While the footprint is undeniably small, Asus is pitching the machine at developers, AI researchers, and content creators who need serious compute power without dedicating half their desk to a traditional workstation.<\/p>\n

One of the headline specifications is support for up to 128GB of unified memory. Rather than separating system and graphics memory, the architecture dynamically shares resources between the CPU and GPU. <\/p>\n

According to Asus, this enables workloads such as 90GB-plus 3D scenes and large language models with up to 120 billion parameters to run locally. In fact, the company claims up to one petaflop of AI performance.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the compact design doesn\u2019t appear to come at the expense of expandability either. Asus has included M.2 PCIe Gen 5 x4 slots for high-speed storage upgrades, alongside integrated 10GbE networking. This benefits creators and professionals working with large files across local networks.<\/p>\n

Perhaps more impressive is the cooling system; squeezing workstation-class components into a chassis this size inevitably raises thermal concerns.<\/p>\n

However, Asus engineered the ProArt Mini PC with up to 140W of thermal headroom. The goal is straightforward: sustain demanding rendering, AI training, and content creation workloads. This targets the performance throttling that can affect smaller systems under prolonged load.<\/p>\n
