As mentioned above, if the M5 Pro chip, 16-inch display, and 48GB RAM count is overkill for your needs, direct your attention to the base model M5 MacBook Pro instead. This one still carries 16GB of RAM, the same 1TB storage capacity, and, while clearly not as powerful as an M5 Pro machine, will likely suffice for most folks at a much more digestible $1,499<\/strong> deal price \u2013 that\u2019s $200 off and matching the lowest we have ever tracked on this model at Amazon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
