Intel engineer Sebastian Brzezinka tracked down the issue last month for this kernel bug seen on Sandy Bridge during heartbeat-triggered engine resets. It&#8217;s a simple one-liner for new code to the i915 DRM driver.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phoronix.net\/image.php?id=intel_corei5_2400s&#038;image=intel_2400s_pkg_med\" alt=\"Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge CPU box\"\/><\/p>\n<p>That fix was sent out today via drm-intel-gt-next of new material for Linux 7.2.
