The two software suppliers unveiled the joint stack at the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Yokohama on 27\u201329 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The integration delivers Elektrobit\u2019s safety-enabled Linux distribution paired with the ADAS profile of ETAS\u2019s middleware suite. The companies describe the offering as a Linux-based alternative to proprietary operating systems, supporting Automotive Safety Integrity Level B (ASIL-B) safety.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Tobias Kreuzinger, Head of Product Field Compute Middleware at ETAS, said: \u201cBy combining the ADAS profile of our Vehicle Software Platform Suite with EB corbos Linux for Safety Applications, we\u2019re allowing OEMs and Tier 1s to efficiently enable ASIL-B safety in Linux-based systems while providing series-proven middleware capabilities to ADAS function developers.\u201d Moritz Neukirchner, Head of Cross-Portfolio Growth and Alliances at Elektrobit, added: \u201cIn combination with ETAS, we are validating safety-enabled Linux can serve as a solid foundation for ADAS when combined with deterministic middleware.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tier 1s and OEMs can integrate the foundation into existing software stacks for production evaluations and pilots.
