There\u2019s a new starter that \u201clets you design automations based on visual insights\u201d and \u201calmost anything happening around your home.\u201d\u00a0 Examples include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Red BMW enters driveway<\/li>\n<li>[Specific individual] gets out of car (Familiar Faces needs to be enabled)<\/li>\n<li>Car door left open<\/li>\n<li>Raccoon near trash bin<\/li>\n<li>Amazon delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To set these up, you just need to use simple, natural language prompts to describe the exact event you want to start an automation, and select which cameras should look for it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Google provides the following tips:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Describe clearly visible items<\/strong>: Only use descriptions of things the camera can clearly see.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use general terms for people<\/strong>: For the best results, use \u201cperson\u201d, \u201cpeople\u201d or \u201csomeone\u201d in your triggers when referring to people. Alternatively if you want to be more specific, enable Familiar Faces and use specific names.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Google Home app is also seeing a handful of updates today with version 4.17.
