But, as reported by Politico,\u00a0some members of Congress are considering legislation that would override state laws like the RAISE ACT.<\/p>\n<p>This has prompted two New York state lawmakers to send a letter to all New York House Democrats urging them to \u201coppose federal efforts to preempt state regulations that protect residents from the harms of artificial intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of those state lawmakers is state Sen.
