A controversy surrounding a prize-winning short story has raised questions over the use of artificial intelligence in fiction.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Serpent in the Grove\u201d by Jamir Nazir was named the winner in the Caribbean category of the Commonwealth Prize, but \u201csyntactical tics\u201d alleged to be telltale signs of AI use, as well as \u201cthe verdict of an AI detection platform\u201d, have caused an uproar in the literary world, said The Guardian.<\/p>\n
