A new report suggests Apple is set to take the iPhone X route with a major redesign for the iPhone 20. The leaker claims Apple’s 20th-anniversary iPhone will feature a curved (quad-curved\/micro-curved) display to deliver a near all-screen, bezel-less front design that fans have been anticipating for years. In this article, I\u2019ll go over the new leak and explain the radical redesign that the iPhone 20 is expected to have.<\/p>\n

The leak comes from Front Page Tech (fpt.) YouTube channel’s Jon Prosser, who believes the iPhone 20 will be Apple’s return to design genius after years of flat\/rugged design.<\/p>\n

Prosser believes Apple will ditch the industrial flat design for the iPhone 20 and return to a more curved\/rounded design of the past. The difference with the iPhone 20 will be that both the display and the rear glass will feature curved edges, providing a smooth transition to the rounded frame in the middle. The frame will also be glossy to provide a more luxurious look and feel.<\/p>\n

The iPhone 20’s display is set to change how you view the iPhone forever, according to Prosser. The new display tech from Samsung uses Color Filter on Encapsulation technology, which removes the need for polarizing film usually used on top of OLED panels.<\/p>\n

Essentially, the encapsulation layer itself will integrate the color filters, eliminating the need for a separate layer. Removing this dedicated color filter layer will make the upcoming display both brighter and thinner. However, Prosser notes that the change will also result in more intense reflections.
