The app is temporarily unavailable in Apple&#8217;s App Store for all three platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Sonos is aware of the problem: in a status update it says that &#8220;We have identified a problem with the Sonos App availability in the iOS \/ Mac App Stores and are working on a solution.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-16f6c5d2-c5b0-434a-9b68-df7716f5ab83-2\">So far the app has been unavailable for a few hours and we don&#8217;t yet know when it&#8217;ll return \u2014 we&#8217;ve contacted Sonos for further clarification, and we&#8217;ll update if we hear back.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"inline-flex items-center gap-1.5 text-sm font-article-heading capitalize leading-5 text-white whitespace-nowrap\"><span class=\"jwp-carousel-title-mobile\"\/><span class=\"jwp-carousel-title-desktop\">Latest Videos From<\/span><span class=\"jwp-carousel-brand inline-flex items-center\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/media\/img\/techradar_logo_v2.svg\" alt=\"\" class=\"max-h-12 w-auto\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/><br \/>\n        <span class=\"\n            flex\n            after:content-[''] after:flex-1 after:ml-4 after:my-[0.7rem] after:border-t after:border-solid after:border-t-[#ccc]\n            before:content-[''] before:flex-1 before:mr-4 before:my-[0.7rem] before:border-t before:border-solid before:border-t-[#ccc]\n            font-article-heading pb-0 text-[length:var(--article-river-title--font-size,1em)] uppercase sm:text-[length:var(--article-river-title--font-size,0.875em)] font-bold\n        \"><br \/>\n            You may like<br \/>\n        <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-s-wrong-with-the-sonos-app-3\">What&#8217;s wrong with the Sonos app?<\/h2>\n<p id=\"elk-35bd0305-8bc9-4067-ac4a-99a84bca7942\">The Sonus status page shows a clear sheet for almost everything bar the Sonos Account, which is currently labelled with a red X to indicate a major outage.<\/p>\n<p>Sonos says that in addition to the app not being available to download, you might not be able to update it if it&#8217;s already installed on your system.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clearly an outage rather than a deletion \u2014 the Sonos app is available for all the other platforms \u2014 so there&#8217;s no need to read the tea leaves on this one: an elastic band has snapped somewhere and Sonos is working on a fix.
