Dell XPS 14 (2026) Two-minute review<\/span><\/h3>\n

During my time as a tech journalist I\u2019ve seen a lot of big companies make big mistakes, but it\u2019s been rare to see a company acknowledge, let alone reverse, an unpopular decision. So when Dell announced at CES 2026 that it was resurrecting the Dell XPS 14 (and other XPS laptops), a year after it controversially dropped the XPS brand, I was pleasantly surprised.<\/p>\n

Now, having spent time using the Dell XPS 14 (2026) as my main laptop, I\u2019m pleased to report that those warm, fuzzy feelings (could this be hope? Joy? In 2026?!?!) have stayed with me. After years of slowly dropping pretty much every Windows 11-powered PC from my life, the Dell XPS 14 (2026) has won me back, proving that you don\u2019t need to shell out for a MacBook if you want a stylish and high-performing laptop.<\/p>\n

A lot of that is due to the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (also known as Panther Lake) processors that power this new edition (my review unit came with the high-end Intel Core Ultra X7), and while it means the Dell XPS 14 (2026) can be classed as a \u2018Copilot + PC\u2019 and has the ability to run on-device AI tasks, what\u2019s really exciting about the Dell XPS 14 is its power efficiency, which means it can offer fast performance and long battery life, all wrapped up in a stylish thin and light design.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the design, this is an extremely stylish laptop, and easily one of the best-looking Windows 11 devices I\u2019ve recently seen. The Dell XPS 14 (2026) has had a redesign from previous models, with a sleek and modern look that easily competes with Apple\u2019s best designs. In fact, it makes the MacBook Pro 14-inch (M5) feel quite bulky in comparison, although in the MacBook Pro’s favor it comes with a lot more ports (there\u2019s no HDMI or SD card…<\/p>\n
