(May 20, 2026) \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Illinois State Police returned to World Wide Technology Raceway for their annual inspections on May 20.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Over 70 cars\u00a0packed pit road\u00a0where supervisors inspected each vehicle,\u00a0and their tactical gear,\u00a0\u00a0in great\u00a0detail. These annual inspections have taken place at WWT Raceway for the past few years as the ISP Troop 8 is located just 10 minutes away from the track in Collinsville, Ill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorld Wide Technology Raceway and the Illinois State Police have a great working relationship and we are proud to host this annual inspection,\u201d said Chris Blair, WWT Raceway Executive Vice President and General Manager. \u00a0\u201cWe are committed to serving our community and have long supported the efforts of our first responders in their readiness efforts.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year, each vehicle had the opportunity to take a lap around the 1.25-mile oval that will soon host the NTT INDYCAR SERIES on June 6-7.
