To coincide with the 14th edition of Interpoma\u2014<\/span>the only international trade fair dedicated exclusively to apples, taking place between November 25 and 27, 2026, at Fiera Bolzano\u2014<\/span>applications have officially opened for the Interpoma\u00a0Award 2026<\/strong>. This prestigious honor will recognize the best application technologies for more precise, efficient, and sustainable apple growing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition will focus on a theme that is currently crucial for the entire supply chain:\u00a0spraying technology<\/strong>. This encompasses treatment application technologies, with a particular emphasis on advanced spraying systems, sensors, drones and digital tools capable of making products more targeted, efficient and sustainable.<\/p>\n

Open exclusively to exhibitors, the Interpoma Award remains an international platform for visibility, designed to showcase high-impact technological innovations that address the sector\u2019s evolving needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Interpoma Awards 2026 will recognize innovation in the apple industry<\/h2>\n

Applications will be evaluated by a technical jury chaired by Massimo Tagliavini<\/strong>, Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the long-standing scientific lead for the initiative. The jury is composed of international academic experts, including\u00a0Fabrizio Mazzetto<\/strong>\u00a0(Free University of Bozen-Bolzano),\u00a0Luigi Sartori<\/strong>\u00a0(University of Padua),\u00a0Ester Poppa Pedretti<\/strong> (Polytechnic University of Marche), and\u00a0Jens Karl Wegener<\/strong>\u00a0(Julius\u00a0K\u00fchn-Institut, Germany).\u00a0<\/p>\n

The winner will be announced at the end of the first day of the\u00a0Interpoma\u00a0Congress on\u00a0Thursday, 26 November<\/strong>, before an international audience of trade professionals, buyers,\u00a0researchers\u00a0and industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n
