The funding will support product development and the expansion of the<br \/>\nplatform ahead of new European cybersecurity regulations coming into force in<br \/>\n2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Founded in 2025 by Juho Niemi, Dennis Marttinen, Jaakko Sir\u00e9n and Petteri Pulkkinen, CRACI develops<br \/>\nsoftware supply chain security technology designed to help companies comply<br \/>\nwith the European Union\u2019s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The regulation will require<br \/>\nproducts with digital elements sold in the EU to meet stricter cybersecurity,<br \/>\ndocumentation and lifecycle management standards, affecting hundreds of<br \/>\nthousands of companies globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The company says the<br \/>\nincreasing complexity of software development, driven by third-party<br \/>\ncomponents, open-source dependencies and AI-generated code, is making<br \/>\nvisibility and control across software supply chains more difficult. At the<br \/>\nsame time, businesses face growing regulatory pressure to ensure software<br \/>\nproducts remain secure and traceable throughout their lifecycle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>CRACI\u2019s platform provides<br \/>\nvisibility across software supply chains while automating vulnerability<br \/>\ntracking, lifecycle management and compliance processes. The company aims to<br \/>\nhelp organisations meet CRA requirements related to supply chain control, traceability<br \/>\nand continuous security without slowing software development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Juho Niemi,<\/span> <span>co-founder<br \/>\nand CEO of CRACI, said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Supply chain security is<br \/>\nnow business-critical for software organisations.
