It offers expanded hands on opportunities, and will be designed to mirror real world industry environments. There will also be a strong focus on emerging transportation technologies such as electric and hybrid vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">RCC President Randy Weber says CTE programs at RCC have seen significant enrollment increases over the years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">\u201cThis project specifically is really going to allow us to both expand the curriculum to meet needs in the industry that aren\u2019t met today,\u201d Weber said. \u201cAs well as be able to provide more access to education, to more students. In Programs like transportation, we know that there\u2019s a high demand 60 to 100 jobs a year, and that they\u2019re going to enter the workforce at a family sustaining wage. And so that\u2019s really powerful information to have as we think about making significant capital investments like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The Redwood campus groundbreaking will take place May 7 in Grants Pass at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Construction will begin this summer at both locations, with courses expected for fall of 2027.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 0.9rem;font-style: italic;\">\u00a9 2026 KOBI-TV NBC5.
