As the <\/span>U.S. <\/span>marks <\/span><\/span>National Small Business Week<\/span>,<\/span><\/span> ITI is proud to recognize the entrepreneurs and small business owners who power the U.S. economy and to endorse bipartisan legislation that would help them take advantage of one of the most important technologies shaping the future of work: artificial intelligence.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

For more than 60 years, the U<\/span>nited States <\/span>has celebrated National Small Business Week to recognize the critical contributions of America\u2019s entrepreneurs and small business owners. <\/span>Small businesses are often where innovation begins<\/span> \u2013 by <\/span>creat<\/span>ing<\/span> jobs, <\/span>supporting<\/span> local communities, <\/span>strengthening<\/span> supply chains, and <\/span>helping<\/span> ensure that economic opportunity reaches every corner of the country. <\/span>W<\/span>hile small businesses have always been engines of growth, they <\/span>often <\/span>t<\/span>ake longer to<\/span> evaluate, adopt, and <\/span>utilize<\/span> <\/span>emerging technologies.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

That is especially true when it comes to AI.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

AI tools can help small businesses improve productivity, better serve customers, strengthen cybersecurity, streamline administrative tasks, <\/span>i<\/span>dentify<\/span> <\/span>new opportunities, and compete more effectively in an increasingly digital economy. For a small business owner balancing operations, hiring, customer service, compliance, and growth, the ability to use AI can be a significant force multiplier.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, small businesses need practical, trusted, and accessible resources to understand how AI can be used effectively and responsibly. Many small businesses may be interested in AI but unsure where to begin, what tools are <\/span>appropriate for<\/span> their needs, how to evaluate risks, or how to train employees. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
