The semester-long, experiential entrepreneurial development program completed its first cohort this spring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt\u2019s a great experience for our MBA students, but it\u2019s also potentially valuable for the scientists because they have the scientific and technological knowledge, but they don\u2019t necessarily have the business knowledge,\u201d said Andrea Contigiani, an assistant professor of management and human resources. \u201cThey can get help and make progress in bringing their technologies to the market.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>MBA students receive three credit hours for participating in the program. The technology teams include STEM faculty, trainees and postdocs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The researchers start out by completing the NSF I-Corps program.
