The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie is currently filming, and turns out the set isn\u2019t exactly secure. Eager fans have been filming the cast in character, leading to spoiler-y scenes with Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah circulating around TikTok. As a result, the show\u2019s official Instagram released a statement asking fans for privacy as production on the movie continues.<\/p>\n

“We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting set disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew,\u201d they wrote. \u201cWe\u2019re working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best movie possible. Please help us protect the magic of Cousins until it\u2019s ready to be shared.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie was announced back in September 2025, and author Jenny Han said, “There is another big milestone left in Belly\u2019s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due. I\u2019m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”<\/p>\n

FYI, this isn\u2019t the first time The Summer I Turned Pretty has had to release a statement directly to viewers. Ahead of season 3, the show asked fans not to engage in hate speech, doxxing, or any harassment, writing \u201cCousins is our safe place. Everything good, everything magical. Let\u2019s keep the conversation kind this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n
