Following the launch earlier this month, Gemini notebooks are now available on Android and iOS, while the iPhone has been updated with Liquid Glass.<\/p>\n

\u201cNotebooks\u201d appear in the Gemini side panel between My stuff and Gems. You\u2019ll see recent collections appear, with \u201cNew notebook\u201d at the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n

They can be used like simple folders for conversations (tap the three-dot overflow menu to group), or as a \u201cdedicated space to organize your chats and files.\u201d<\/p>\n

These notebooks sync with NotebookLM. As such, there are source limits depending on your Google AI tier.<\/p>\n

Free users get up to 50 sources per notebook, while it\u2019s 100\/notebook for AI Plus and 300\/notebook for Pro. Ultra subscribers get 600 sources per notebook.<\/p>\n

Google says Gemini notebooks are \u201ccoming soon to additional countries in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Google yesterday updated (version 1.2026.1710203) the Gemini app to target iOS 26. As such, you\u2019ll notice the new Liquid Glass keyboard and menus, like when tapping the \u2018plus\u2019 menu. There\u2019s also an updated side panel for iPad users, but it\u2019s otherwise a straightforward modernization for Apple platforms.<\/p>\n
