In the case of the author, and a number of other users, the display just goes black, as if the iPhone was dead. <\/p>\n<p>A number of users have posted about this error with the iPhone 17 models, and the article\u2019s autho describes using an assortment of techniques to try and fix this, including the hardware reset button combination (press volume up, volume down, hold side button), expecting this to boot the phone into gear, and show the Apple logo. Different USB-C cables were tried, and the present consensus is to put your phone on a MagSafe charger, and just leave it for a good fifteen minutes or so.<\/p>\n<p>The larger issue is that the battery software is programmed to need a minimum voltage to support a reboot.
