The problem appears to be linked<br \/>\nto overheating, which may have started after the release of the<br \/>\nMarch Pixel Feature Drop update. As temperatures rise, some devices<br \/>\nreportedly lose stable connections to wireless networks.<\/p>\n<p>A Reddit user known as \u201cdanillll2017\u201d gathered complaints from<br \/>\nother smartphone owners and even conducted a small experiment. To<br \/>\nreduce overheating, he suggested turning off the device and placing<br \/>\nit next to an ice pack. According to his observations, the phone<br \/>\ntemporarily resumed normal operation after cooling down\u2014until it<br \/>\noverheated again.<\/p>\n<p>However, experts from Android Authority strongly advise against<br \/>\nsuch methods. \u201cWe do not recommend trying this,\u201d the journalists<br \/>\nnoted, warning that moisture protection can degrade over time and<br \/>\nthat rapid cooling may cause condensation, especially on the camera<br \/>\nlens, potentially damaging the device.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, users are encouraged to wait for an official software<br \/>\nfix from Google. Interestingly, similar overheating-related issues<br \/>\nhave been observed in other smartphones in recent years,<br \/>\nhighlighting how increasing device performance often comes with<br \/>\ngreater thermal management challenges.
