Google has previously referred to the models as \u201cnano-v2\u201d and \u201cnano-v3\u201d (which is available on the Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26). There are two versions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gemini Nano 4 Fast<\/strong> [Preview, TPU]: Our most efficient model based on Gemma 4 E2B, designed for fast responses.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E2B: Optimized for maximum speed (3x faster than the E4B model!) and lower latency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gemini Nano 4 Full<\/strong> [Preview, TPU]: Our most capable model based on Gemma 4 E4B for the highest-quality answers.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E4B: Designed for higher reasoning power and complex tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Android, Google highlights how Gemma 4 is \u201cup to 4x faster than previous versions and uses up to 60% less battery.\u201d It offers \u201cindustry-leading performance with multimodal understanding\u201d across text, image, and audio, while natively supporting 140+ languages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Use cases include:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\">Advertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reasoning<\/strong>: Chain-of-thought commands and conditional statements can now be expected to return higher quality results. <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For example: \u201cDetermine if the following comment for a discussion thread passes the community guidelines. The comment does not pass the community guideline if it contains one or more of these reason_for_flag: profanity, derogatory language, hate speech\u201d. If the review passes the community guidelines, return {true}.
