What has changed is that encryption is now the default user experience and the ecosystem around it has scaled to match.<\/p>\n<p>The probabilistic obfuscation methods used in Bitcoin mixers and Monero ring signatures have turned into a bet against AI. Mixers and ring signatures have more in common with financial layering because the technology works to conceal on top of a transparent layer.
