Following the first iOS 26.4 preview, Apple Music 5.2 entered beta earlier this week with three new features.<\/p>\n

Update 3\/24<\/strong>: With the launch of iOS 26.4, Apple Music 5.2 has now entered the stable channel for all users:<\/p>\n

Now you can create a new playlist with just an idea in seconds.<\/p>\n

This update also adds:
\u2022 Concerts: Find shows in your area and tour dates for artists you love.
\u2022 Video Subtitles: You can now customize your font, style, and background.
\u2022 Support for 10 new system languages including Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.<\/p>\n

Original 2\/22: Playlist Playground leverages generative AI to \u201ccreate a new playlist with just an idea in seconds.\u201d You can access it from the top-right corner of the Library tab.<\/p>\n

The top half of this new interface can just be used to create a playlist sans AI. The bottom sheet lets you enter a prompt, with Apple Music offering \u201cNew Playlist Ideas\u201d and \u201cSuggested Songs.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Up next is the albums and playlists redesign. This \u201cFull-page artwork brings your music to life\u201d by extending the themed background to the track list and other suggestions below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Play button is now centered, while Shuffle is no longer a pill. It\u2019s now at the left as a circle, while Download is on the other side. In the corner position, you get a Share menu. These button changes are a nice upgrade for one-handed usage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Old vs. new<\/p>\n

Finally, on artist pages, you might see an \u201cUpcoming Concerts\u201d badge at the top. Scroll down for \u201cAll Upcoming Concerts\u201d below the Top Videos carousel.<\/p>\n

Apple Music 5.2 is currently in beta \u2014 join here or via the Google Play Store listing \u2014\u00a0with the stable release coinciding with iOS 26.4.<\/p>\n
