\u201cYou have to have the right skills in the right place, with the right levels of experience,\u201d he explained. \u201cThat absolutely now includes third-party providers and other service providers that are going to help build that collective team.\u201d<\/p>\n

While cybersecurity was a lot \u201csimpler 15 years ago\u201d, with threats less frequent and less impactful.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdd on data breaches and other types of operational or availability issues or defacements, you add all the nation states.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose threats and the impact of those threats have gotten much more difficult, and as a result, the technology stacks that we need have gotten more complex.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past five years, I\u2019d say there\u2019s more of a shift back to platformisation. There\u2019s also more of a shift to a lot of soft problems.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It\u2019s] been a journey and it\u2019s not getting easier with AI yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0Castanga\u2019s insights helps to reinforce the challenges Rapid7 customers are dealing with.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to understand the challenges that exist at [that] levels, and sometimes [it\u2019s] different to the conversations that we have with the technical team,\u201d noted channel director Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) David Quist.<\/p>\n

That means making sure \u201cpartners are as conscious\u201d as Rapid7 sellers, he said. As well as being prepared as they can be for the types of conversations they need to have.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur partners\u2019 technical teams are at the heart of how customers experience\u00a0Rapid7\u00a0in the market,\u201d Quist said. \u201cThese are highly skilled practitioners who customers trust to guide critical security decisions, often in complex and high-stakes environments.\u201d<\/p>\n
