While those are great, they often lack the \u201csecret sauce\u201d that makes the official Google Chrome experience so seamless. <strong>Today, that is changing<\/strong> as Google has officially announced that Chrome for ARM64 Linux will launch in <strong>Q2 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This move follows the successful transitions of Chrome to Arm-powered macOS devices in 2020 and Windows in 2024. With this final piece of the puzzle, Google is ensuring that the next generation of high-performance Linux devices has access to the full Google ecosystem.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The full Google experience on Linux<\/h2>\n<p>The launch of an official ARM64 build means Linux users no longer have to jump through hoops or use specialized tools to get the features they expect. By signing into a Google Account, users will get full cross-device continuity, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Syncing:<\/strong> Bookmarks, history, and open tabs will follow you from your phone or Mac\/PC to your Arm-Linux machine.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extensions:<\/strong> Direct access to the Chrome Web Store without needing developer workarounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Built-in tools:<\/strong> One-click webpage translation and seamless Google Pay integration for autofill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security at the forefront<\/h2>\n<p>Google is also bringing its heavy-hitting security features to this new architecture.
