In the role, he will work with business leaders to embed advanced AI capabilities into operations and customer engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Kroger said the move consolidates its data and AI efforts under a single leader and supports the development of next-generation \u201cagentic\u201d AI tools designed to improve productivity and transform how the company operates.<\/p>\n<p>Mahadevan joined Kroger when it acquired dunnhumby\u2019s U.S. business in 2015 after nearly 15 years with the analytics firm.
