Tails 7.5 Live Linux now available<\/p>\n

Version 7.5 of the Debian-based Irish-flavored Linux distro with a strong focus on online anonymity and security, namely Tails, is now available with several updated apps and the usual set of bugs and fixes. It is also the first version that installs Thunderbird as additional software on each start.<\/p>\n

Incognito, a discontinued Gentoo-based distro, launched in mid-2009. What is today called “The Amnesic Incognito Live System” (usually referred to as Tails) started when Amnesia and Incognito were merged. Tails 7.5 provides better security than its predecessors to those who have Additional Software and Thunderbird turned on with Persistent Storage. This way, the latest version of the email client is installed automatically each time Tails is being powered on.\n<\/p>\n
