Meta<\/span> formed a multiyear partnership with <\/span>Nvidia<\/span> to advance its artificial intelligence infrastructure plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The collaboration will help support Meta\u2019s development of data centers designed for AI training and inference, as well as its core business, according to a Tuesday (Feb. 17) <\/span>press release<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo one deploys AI at Meta\u2019s scale, integrating frontier research with industrial-scale infrastructure to power the world\u2019s largest personalization and recommendation systems for billions of users,\u201d Nvidia founder and CEO <\/span>Jensen Huang<\/span> said in the release. \u201cThrough deep co-design across CPUs, GPUs, networking and software, we are bringing the full Nvidia platform to Meta\u2019s researchers and engineers as they build the foundation for the next AI frontier.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Meta also adopted <\/span>Nvidia\u2019s tech<\/span> for use in its <\/span>WhatsApp<\/span> private messaging service and for its <\/span>larger<\/span> infrastructure efforts, the release <\/span>said<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The partnership will see engineers from both companies team to \u201coptimize and accelerate state-of-the-art AI models\u201d to improve new AI capabilities used worldwide, according to the release.<\/span><\/p>\n
