MacBook users who have their device connected to the charger most of the time and are looking to maximize their Battery Health can select the 80% Charging Limit for the best benefit.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">OH MY GAWD ! ! ! ! ! !\ud83d\ude33\ud83e\udd2f<\/p>\n<p>Charge limit option added in Tahoe 26.4 Beta!!!!! pic.twitter.com\/SxNgMV3YsP<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mr. Macintosh (@ClassicII_MrMac) February 16, 2026<\/p>\n<p>To enable this feature, users need to have the developer beta installed and follow these simple steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Settings<\/li>\n<li>Select Battery<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018i\u2019 button beside Charging<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Users who are registered as a developer on www.developer.apple.com\u00a0can opt in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting\u00a0Developer\u00a0Beta. We can expect the second beta of macOS Tahoe 26.4 to be released after two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Do note that this version is not stable and is meant for testing purposes.
