Doppel has announced that Ciaran Martin, Founder of the UK\u2019s National Cyber Security Centre, has joined the company as a strategic advisor. <\/p>\n

This appointment reportedly underscores Doppel\u2019s commitment to building resilient, whole-of-nation defences aligned with leading national cyber-authorities, as AI dramatically increases the scale and impact of social engineering attacks.<\/p>\n

Founder of National Cyber Security Centre <\/h2>\n

In addition to founding the UK\u2019s National Cyber Security Centre and serving as its first CEO, Martin is a 23-year veteran of the UK Government, having worked directly under five Prime Ministers. <\/p>\n

He has also reportedly held senior roles at HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office and Government Communications Headquarters. <\/p>\n

Martin also holds senior leadership and advisory roles across government and academia. <\/p>\n

He is currently a Professor of Practice at the University of Oxford\u2019s Blavatnik School of Government and is very active in the cybersecurity industry, including as UK Chair of CyberCX UK, Director of the SANS Institute\u2019s Cyber Leaders Forum and Managing Director at Paladin Capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Growing presence in cyber <\/h2>\n

By appointing Martin and expanding reach into the UK, EU and Five Eyes government markets, Doppel is reportedly solidifying longstanding relationships and trust at the highest levels of international cyber-leadership. <\/p>\n

As it grows its global presence, the company is said to continue strengthening its enterprise go-to-market strategy, underscoring social engineering defence as a board-level, systemic risk rather than a narrow security control.<\/p>\n

Unifying threat intelligence<\/h2>\n

Martin said: \u201cThere\u2019s so much chatter about AI and cybersecurity and it\u2019s really hard, but really important, to focus on what\u2019s actually happening in the real world, away from the hype. <\/p>\n
