The lawsuit, which was filed in early January in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, could have significant financial and strategic repercussions for both groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Patented technology used without authorization<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Solos Technology\u2019s complaint, Meta and EssilorLuxottica have incorporated technologies protected by at least five patents previously filed by the startup into their smart glasses.
