We’re just a month away from the launch of the Pixel 11, and it could be an exciting release if the rumors turn out to be true. While the usual hardware upgrades are nice, this year’s biggest feature could end up being Pixel Glow. And despite the launch being a month away, we just got word of all the different colors that will be released.
Hardware is just one part of the experience when it comes to Pixel phones. So we can’t wait to see what software features specific to the Pixel lineup arrive when the Pixel 11 is released. While the big ones will gain the most exposure, it’s always the small ones that truly make the phones better during day-to-day use.

With that said, it looks like Android Authority has uncovered a feature that could arrive in a future version of Android that will introduce a slider to more sections that need volume adjustments for their audio components. As you can imagine, this can be very handy, because it eliminates an extra step that’s in the current iteration of Android.
The news outlet highlights how it discovered the change in an “unreleased build found in Pixel 11 firmware.” As far as which section gets the change, well, in its current form, the ringtones, notification sounds, and alarm sections all have this new volume slider adjustment.
