iPhone Air records biggest price drop in Vietnam’s iPhone 17 lineup

Higher-capacity versions of the iPhone 17 Pro Max have also received notable discounts. The 512GB model is now priced at VND42.99 million (US$1,646), down from its original VND44.49 million (US$1,704). Some retailers are also offering trade-in promotions that reduce the effective purchase price to around VND39.56 million (US$1,515).

The 1TB version has dropped from VND50.99 million (US$1,951) to VND48.99 million (US$1,875). Combined with trade-in incentives, buyers may pay as little as VND45.5 million (US$1,742). Meanwhile, the 2TB model has fallen from VND63.99 million (US$2,449) to VND60.59 million (US$2,319).

At Di Dong Viet, the higher-capacity Pro Max variants are currently listed at VND42.39 million (US$1,623) for the 512GB model, VND49.59 million (US$1,898) for the 1TB version and VND61.99 million (US$2,373) for the 2TB model.

Alongside the Pro Max models, the iPhone Air has recorded the largest price reduction within the iPhone 17 family. FPT Shop now lists the 256GB iPhone Air at VND22.99 million (US$880), down from its original VND31.99 million (US$1,225) – a decrease of VND9 million (US$345), or roughly 28%.

The Gioi Di Dong is also selling the same model for VND22.99 million (US$880), while CellphoneS has priced it slightly lower at VND22.89 million (US$876) and is offering a zero-interest installment plan.

For the 512GB iPhone Air, both The Gioi Di Dong and CellphoneS have reduced the price to VND28.99 million (US$1,110) from the original VND38.49 million (US$1,474). Following the latest adjustments, the 256GB iPhone Air is now selling for less than the 256GB iPhone 17 at some retail chains.

Other models in the lineup have also become more affordable. The 256GB iPhone 17e is currently priced at VND17.29 million (US$662) at Di Dong Viet and around VND17.39 million (US$666) at FPT Shop and CellphoneS, representing discounts of approximately US$23–27 from its original VND17.99 million (US$689).
