I’ve never been one to rely on one chatbot. I’ve juggled multiple AI assistants across my Android devices and even leaned on them on my PC.

But since making the jump to the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL last year, Gemini has become my daily driver.

Now, Gemini handles everything from automating my cross-app smart home routines to deep-dive web research. And it’s proven remarkably effective.

The seamless integration with Google’s broader ecosystem makes switching to another chatbot incredibly difficult.

Recently, I added the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 to my arsenal. Beyond enjoying the clamshell form factor, I was curious to see how the revamped Bixby stacks up against Gemini and the rest of the pack.

So, I decided to pit them against each other again and find out which assistant is really well-suited for managing my usual workload.

However, I quickly realized that the differences in how each chatbot performs are stark.

Right from the start, it was clear that there are major limitations to most third-party chatbots. Simply put, this left only two options.
