Mageia 10 Released For This Linux Distribution Carrying On The Mandrake Legacy

Mageia 10 ISOs are now available for this Linux distribution long ago derived from Mandriva Linux and in turn the legendary Mandrake Linux.

It’s been nearly three years since the release of Mageia 9 and the ISOs for Mageia 10 finally crept out this Sunday. Mageia 10 had been Planning for an April 2026 release albeit delays have pushed it out to the end of June. In mid-May the Mageia 10 RC was published while all looks to be buttoned up now for the final release; there’s been no official release announcement posted as of writing but the authentic release ISOs are now available for download.

Mageia 10 is making use of the Linux 6.18 LTS kernel, Mesa 26.0 graphics drivers, and a plethora of other software updates across the board. For those using the common KDE Plasma desktop with Mageia, Mageia 10 is using Plasma 6.5.
