Apple Raises Prices Across Macs, IPads And Home Devices

Apple has raised prices for a range of MacBook and iPad models following CEO Tim Cook’s warning about ongoing supply chain pressures. The entry-level MacBook Neo’s price increased by $100, from $599 to $699. The price of the 13-inch MacBook Air with 512GB storage has risen from $1,099 to $1,299, marking a $200 increase.
Additionally, the price of a 1TB M5 MacBook Pro has escalated to £1,999, an increase of $300. The basic model of the iPad now costs $449, a $100 hike from its previous price of $349. All iPad Pro variants experienced a price increase of $200.
The full list of adjusted prices includes: iPad at $449 (+$100), iPad mini at $599 (+$100), an 11-inch iPad Air at $749 (+$150), a 13-inch iPad Air at $949 (+$200), an 11-inch iPad Pro at $1,199 (+$200), and a 13-inch iPad Pro at $1,499 (+$200). For MacBooks, the price adjustments are as follows: MacBook Neo at $699 (+$100), 13-inch MacBook Air at $1,299 (+$200), iMac at $1,499 (+$200), 15-inch MacBook Air at $1,499 (+$200), M5 MacBook Pro at $1,999 (+$300), M5 Pro MacBook Pro at $2,499 (+$300), M4 Max Mac Studio at $2,499 (+$500), M5 Max MacBook Pro at $4,099 (+$500), and M3 Ultra Mac Studio at $5,299 (+$1,300).

In contrast, iPhone prices remain unchanged. Other products have also seen increases, with the Apple TV 4K now priced at $199, up from $129, and the HomePod now costing $349, a $50 increase. The Vision Pro headset’s price rose from $3,499 to $3,699.
The updated prices are now listed on Apple’s online store. Engadget has contacted Apple for an official comment regarding these changes.
