NEW YORK–OpenAI is broadening access to its most advanced cybersecurity AI tools, allowing 30 security vendors and service providers to integrate GPT-5.5 into customer-facing products and services through its new Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, according to BankInfoSecurity.

The initiative enables cybersecurity firms, consulting organizations and managed security service providers to embed OpenAI’s cyber capabilities into existing security platforms. Participating companies plan to use GPT-5.5 to improve vulnerability prioritization, speed incident response, enhance threat intelligence, automate attack-path analysis and provide deeper context around security risks.

OpenAI said partners will have access to GPT-5.5 with Trusted Access for Cyber, which it described as its primary model for defensive cybersecurity workflows. The company said the program is designed to help organizations move beyond simply identifying vulnerabilities and toward automated remediation and patching at scale, improving cyber resilience across enterprises and critical infrastructure, BankInfoSecurity noted.
