With over three billion monthly users worldwide, WhatsApp has become an integral part of most of our lives. My WhatsApp usage is a mix of personal and business needs. I used it extensively in college to share lecture slides and the like. The point is, my phone number had circulated more widely than I’d have liked, which made me worry about my privacy.
WhatsApp is generally a secure messaging app thanks to end-to-end encrypted messages, but with over one-third of the world using the platform, I am quite worried about my social privacy. Fortunately, just five minutes within the settings will fix any holes there might be.
